ANDY WEIBERG

General Manager

Andy is born and raised in Roswell, GA and has been a part of Windward swimming since he was just 5 years old1 At 14, Andy joined the Windward Club as a swim coach, lifeguard and even worked the concessions’ He is a certified pool operator and is truly dedicated to the Windward Lake Club!

WILL BAILEY

Director of Tennis

Will is coming to Windward Lake Club after successfully building a junior developmental program for the past 3 years at the The I’On Club in Mount Pleasant, SC as the Director of Tennis and Player Development. With more than 15 years experience in various roles in the sports industry, Will is adept at creating, organizing, promoting, and implementing new or improved programs. Will has excellent interpersonal, communication, collaborative, and leadership skills as evidenced by his record of having developed the tennis programs at various tier one facilities to a level of sustainable profitability. These wonderful positions has afforded Will the opportunity to further improve his skills to:

• Substantially grow customer bases through effective marketing.
• Improve customer service and resolve issues promptly to maximize satisfaction.
• Develop effective business plans and financial reporting documents.
• Recruit, screen, recommend for employment, train, develop,and supervise staff.

He has served in multiple roles that required these skills such as: Former Division 1 collegiate athlete at the nationally ranked College of Charleston men’s tennis team, achieving a USTA top 500 American ranking of #407 in 2009, Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach at the nationally ranked Charleston Southern University women’s tennis team, and traveling advisor for two professional touring players who co-reached number one in the world traveling full time and then again traveling full time on the WTA with a former top twenty player. Will’s experiences has allowed him to enthusiastically initiate a number of beneficial administrative changes, including revising budgets and program structures while leading a successful effort to provide a larger budget to expand facilities and build successful teams of coaches.

In addition to Will’s experiences and personal qualities of unconditional honesty and integrity, he has a solid educational foundation having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and again a Master of Sports Management degree from Northeastern University finishing with a GPA of 3.89. Also, as the third generation of entrepreneurs, Will has a tireless passion for business which fuels his interest and enthusiasm for building clubs and facilities to their highest potential.

BERNARD PEARSON

FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Bernard grew up in South Carolina and after high school he joined the United States Navy, where he served as an electricians mate, for 3years active and 5 yrs reserved.

He moved to Atlanta in 1995 and joined the YMCA staff as a personal trainer for 12 years he is AFAA certified and has worked as a trainer for Manor Golf Country club off and on since 2006.

Bernard is very passionate about helping the members reach their fitness goals through exercise and nutrition. In a addition He also has a passion for working with kids To help improve their physical fitness, through fitness camps, sports specific drills.

Trey Halbauer

Director of Adult Tennis

As a former US international tennis tour player, Trey brings a player’s perspective to his coaching style. His coaching accomplishments include a top ranked ITF junior traveling South America and Mexico. Under his coaching, this rising star has won Eddie Herr, one of the largest junior tournaments in the world. Trey also coached a three-time Little Mo champion. These pivotal successes with elite juniors were the spark that fueled Trey’s passion for coaching others in intense academy-based training programs.

Trey played at Anderson University, SC under the guidance of Coach Joey Eskridge where he learned much as a tennis player and person. After college, he played in Serbia to experience playing professional tournaments on the red clay at Novak Djokovic’s training facility.

A native of Phoenix, Arizona and growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio, Trey began playing tennis at a young age. He later moved to Charleston, SC, and then South Florida where he fell in love with the sport and trained as much as six hours per day at Rick Macci’s Tennis Academy. Then and now, he continues to dedicate himself to the sport, pushing himself and his students to test their physical and mental boundaries, coaching the skills and tactics needed to compete and win at the next level, as only an accomplished player can do.
